Harold Lloyd was one of the greatest and most loved comedians of the early film era. More sympathetic that Keaton, more prolific than Chaplin, Harold Lloyd has influenced and been imitated by generations of subsequent film-makers. His most famous persona was the "glasses" character - a plucky, average all-American guy who had the will to succeed despite the fact all manner of seemingly disastrous obstacles were put in his way.

Not just a great comedian, Lloyd was an innovative film-maker, pushing at the limitations of early cinematic technology. He also performed all his own dare-devil stunts - including the legendary scene where he haphazardly dangles off the hands of a clock in Safety Last. Breathtaking, heart-stopping and hilarious, Harold Lloyd\'s films are just as fresh and funny today as when they were made.

This 10 disc set is the most complete collection of Harold Lloyd\'s work ever released and features many of Lloyd\'s greatest works from his side-splitting short films to his hugely inventive features including his first foray into sound film, Welcome Danger, available here for the very first time.
